On a Thursday evening in Port Royal, South Carolina, the sound of multiple gunshots shattered the night's quiet at the Waterford Place apartment complex. When police officers arrived at the scene on January 14, 2021, they found 32-year-old Antonio Lamont Taylor outside with gunshot wounds. Emergency services transported him to Beaufort Memorial Hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
