In the spring of 2022, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace of a Columbia, South Carolina neighborhood, leaving two men dead and another wounded. One of the victims was Richard M. Boineau, a 50-year-old man. The shooting occurred on April 12th at an apartment complex on Hunt Club Road. When deputies from the Richland County Sheriff's Department arrived at the scene, they found Boineau and another man, 42-year-old Lance M. Scott, deceased.
