A woman's remains are found four days after she left her home to go to a store
On September 8, 1979, 47-year-old Mary Crupper left her home in Wichita, Kansas, around 5 p.m. to run an errand at a nearby grocery store. Four days later, on September 12, her body was discovered near 10th and Cleveland in Wichita. The investigation revealed that Mary had been strangled, but the circumstances of her abduction and murder remain unclear.
