In the late summer of 2022, the life of 22-year-old Malik Daveon Zimmerman of Timmonsville, South Carolina, was tragically cut short. On August 16, 2022, law enforcement officials discovered the young man deceased inside a vehicle on Riverbend Drive, situated just north of the town. An investigation swiftly determined that his death was a homicide, the result of a single gunshot wound.
