Devonte Devario Byrd, a 30-year-old resident of Greenville, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on October 29, 2022, in a shooting incident at the Lions Gate Apartments in Mauldin. The Greenville County Coroner's Office responded to the scene on Old Mill Road, where Byrd was found with at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
