In a quiet Mauldin, South Carolina neighborhood, a devastating tragedy unfolded, leaving a community in shock and mourning. Thirteen-year-old Ahbteen Oveissi, a male student at Mauldin Middle School, was found deceased in his home on Laurel Meadows Parkway on September 25, 2017. The young boy's life was cut short in a harrowing act of violence that also claimed the life of his father.
