Jail Supervisor Leon Earl Egley, aged 33, tragically lost his life on June 22, 2000, during a violent attempted jailbreak at the Randolph County Jail in Huntsville, Missouri. The incident occurred around 12:45 am when a man and a woman rang the night buzzer at the jail.
