In the DeBaliviere Place neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, the evening of November 10, 2014, was shattered by violence that claimed the life of 21-year-old LaTunji McElroy. Inside his apartment in the 5600 block of Pershing Avenue, near the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink station, a dispute escalated to a fatal conclusion. McElroy was discovered with a gunshot wound to his neck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
