In the winter of 2015, a long-standing feud in the town of Sikeston, Missouri, culminated in a fatal act of violence that claimed the life of 31-year-old Christopher Qurvon West. An African American man, West was shot and killed on the evening of Sunday, January 11, 2015, while he was sitting inside his vehicle.
