The body of twenty-three-year-old Laura Green, an African American woman, was discovered on the morning of July 20, 2015, in St. Louis, Missouri. Authorities were called to the scene near Interstate 70 and North Euclid Avenue around 8:00 a.m., where they found Green shot to death. The discovery marked a violent start to the day for the city, as her death was one of several homicides reported within a short timeframe.
