Death by Force

On September 29, 2015, the tragic deaths of 6-year-old Alexis Church and her grandmother, 50-year-old Colleen Church, were discovered in a hotel room at the Holiday Inn near Six Flags St. Louis in Eureka, Missouri. The incident was identified as an apparent murder-suicide. According to reports, hotel staff found the bodies around 11:30 a.m. after the two failed to check out on time. Both were found clothed and in bed with gunshot wounds to the head.
