In the summer of 2016, a young man's life was cut short on a street in Kansas City, Missouri, leaving a family heartbroken and a community searching for answers. Rodney Peoples, a 25-year-old male, was fatally shot on the evening of June 11, 2016. The incident occurred in the 3300 block of Indiana Avenue, where he was found by police who were responding to reports of a shooting.
