Deanna Merritt, aged 70, passed away on March 24, 2017, in Forsyth, Missouri. Her death was the result of a tragic incident involving her ex-husband, Eldon Ault Jr. On the morning of her death, Merritt was found with a fatal gunshot wound to the head in Ault's mobile home. Ault claimed that he was either sleepwalking or dreaming when he accidentally shot Merritt, who was sleeping at the time.
