In the early autumn of 2018, the Greater Ville neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, became the scene of a violent tragedy involving 36-year-old Lamont Earl Dukes, a Black male resident of the city. On the night of Saturday, September 8, local law enforcement officers were summoned to the area following reports of gunfire.
