On December 18, 2007, a 58-year-old Black woman named Sandra Holman was found deceased in her home in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred at her residence located in the 2700 block of North Gale Street. Holman was discovered on her couch, where she had been sleeping when she was fatally shot. Investigators at the scene determined that the gunfire came from outside the home or was directed at her while she was vulnerable and resting.
