In the early morning hours of July 19, 2019, authorities in Greenwood, Missouri, were summoned to a residence in the 2200 block of Main Street following a distress call reporting a possible shooting. Law enforcement officers arrived at the scene around 2:00 a.m. to discover the homeowner, Randy Devon Cox, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
