In the early morning hours of December 15, 2019, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of the 1400 block of Nixon Avenue in Pagedale, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. When Pagedale police officers arrived at the scene around 4:45 a.m., they discovered two individuals who had been shot. One of the victims, a 45-year-old man named Keith Lamon Solomon, was pronounced dead at the scene. The second victim was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition.
