In what has been described as a senseless act of violence, 28-year-old Kyle Wanner, a male employee at a Belton, Missouri, car dealership, was fatally shot on April 16, 2020. The incident occurred at the Show Me Auto Mall, where Wanner worked. A man, later identified as 21-year-old Edward Cornejo-Juarez of Kansas City, entered the auto shop before 10:45 a.m. and was seen on surveillance video conversing with Wanner.
