In the early hours of February 12, 2021, the life of Christopher Bell, a 39-year-old Black / African American male, was cut short in Belton, Missouri. The Belton Police Department responded to reports of gunshots shortly after midnight and discovered Bell in the parking lot of an apartment complex located at East 125th Street and Spring Valley Road. He had sustained gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
