In the warm evening of June 7, 2020, in Sikeston, Missouri, the life of 20-year-old Faquazia Wilson was tragically cut short. A gathering behind a local business, the old Sunset Grocery Store, turned into a scene of chaos and violence when gunfire erupted, leaving a devastating toll. Faquazia, a female, was among those who perished in the hail of bullets. Another young woman, 21-year-old Kimyata Haynes, also lost her life in the senseless attack that wounded seven others.
