Damonte McClendon, a 17-year-old from Saint Louis, Missouri, tragically lost his life on June 18, 2020. He was shot around 12:45 AM on Lexington Avenue at Clay Avenue, near Fairground Park. His body was discovered in the street next to his car, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident involved two other 17-year-olds who were not injured. The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear, and homicide detectives have been investigating the case.
