On a Wednesday evening in Indianapolis, 27-year-old Jared A. Wathen was found shot on the city's east side. The incident, which occurred on December 8, 2010, unfolded in the 3200 block of Elmhurst Drive around 6:37 p.m. when Metro Police responded to a call of a person shot.
