On the afternoon of Christmas Eve in 2020, the festive spirit in a north St. Louis neighborhood was shattered by a grim discovery. Thirty-seven-year-old Gregory Wilbon, a male, was found lifeless on a sidewalk in the 4500 block of Aldine Avenue. The call to police was made around 2:40 p.m., reporting a person down. When officers arrived, they found Mr. Wilbon with injuries to his back and, tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
