Michael Jonathan Schmitt, a 35-year-old resident of St. James, Missouri, tragically lost his life on July 15, 2021, in Rolla, Missouri. The incident occurred at the Stately Mansions Mobile Home Park located on Highway 72. At approximately 11:25 p.m., police responded to reports of shots fired and discovered Schmitt lying in the driveway, critically wounded from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite being transported to Phelps Health, Schmitt succumbed to his injuries.
