On a winter day in Indianapolis, the life of 23-year-old Shawn Matthew Barnett was tragically cut short. On January 12, 2023, Barnett and 50-year-old Larry Moorman were fatally shot in an apartment building on North Walcott Street. The incident unfolded around noon when police were called to the scene following reports of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers discovered the two men, both suffering from gunshot wounds.
