On a Monday evening in November 2023, the life of Charles Spurlock, a 51-year-old male, was tragically cut short in his home on the east side of Indianapolis. Concern grew when a friend could not reach him, a silence that led to a grim discovery at his residence in the 5100 block of East 21st Street. Responding to a welfare check, officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department entered the home to find Spurlock deceased, bearing injuries that immediately suggested a violent end. ...
