On July 12, 2017, Mark Secrest Jr., age 25, was tragically killed in a double shooting in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred around 11:00 a.m. near the 2900 block of Caroline Avenue on the city's northeast side. Officers responded to the scene and found two men deceased: Mark Secrest and another victim, John Easley, age 27.
