I live not too far from the Walnut Park East neighborhood, and it's so disheartening to see another life cut short by violence. Christopher Willis Jr.'s death has really stirred a lot of emotions around here—especially thinking about his young son who now has to grow up without his dad. I often pass by the tire shop on Harney Avenue, and it pains me to think about the tragedy that unfolded there. I recently read about how resilient his family has been through all of this, gathering every week to keep his legacy alive while pushing for justice. It's inspiring to see their strength, but it must be exhausting at the same time. Also, any updates from the community itself? Sometimes local insight offers perspectives we don't get from police reports. I sincerely hope the family gets the answers they need soon. If there's anything we, as a community, can do to support them, I'm all in. Justice for Christopher must prevail.
