Has anyone else noticed how often community leaders like Clarence seem to become targets? Clarence was such a fixture at Mount Zion Baptist and always devoted his time to helping those around him. It's baffling that someone who was so deeply rooted in family and faith could be lost to such senseless violence. The fact that his murder remains unsolved all these years later is a tragedy in itself. It makes you wonder how many crucial pieces of the puzzle are missing. Every time we bring up his name, I hope it pushes someone to come forward with information that could lead to justice. My deepest sympathies go out to his loved ones who are still left with so many unanswered questions.

I've been reading about the tragic case of Clarence Bibbs Jr., and it's really stuck with me how deeply he was loved and respected by those who knew him. As someone involved at the Mount Zion Baptist Church, "DAP" seemed to have such a wide-reaching impact, not only among his coworkers at the steel mill but within his church community as well. It’s no wonder there’s still such a keen sense of loss. It got me thinking about how important community support is in the aftermath of such tragedies. Have there been any memorial services or gatherings in his name that people might have attended over the years? Keeping his memory alive that way seems so vital, not just for his family but for the entire community that cherished him. Sending all my thoughts to the family and friends who are undoubtedly still feeling this loss every day.
