Does anyone else find it deeply unsettling how both Derrion Estes and Daven James were tragically swept under the rug due to Blount's larger legal issues? It just feels so unfair to their families who are left seeking answers that might never come. Derrion was only 23, a young father with a fiancée and a promising future ahead. It breaks my heart to think about how his children will grow up without their dad and might never have full clarity on what truly happened that day. It’s like, once Blount’s plea deal was on the table, their cases just faded away in the shadow of Officer Westerfield’s murder. Isn’t there more we can do to bring some real justice for Derrion and Daven? It’s not just about legal closure but also allowing their loved ones to heal with some sense of truth.
