Has anyone else been following the case of Jean Johnson from Capitan, NM? I've been trying to piece together what might have happened, and the whole situation with her .357 pistol really stands out to me. It's so strange that it was returned by some unidentified person months after she went missing. Why would someone have it, and then choose to anonymously give it back to the police? It raises so many questions about who this person is and what they might know about Jean's disappearance. You'd think this would be a significant lead for investigators, but it doesn't seem like it's brought us any closer to answers. Anyone have thoughts on what this could mean, or theories on who might have been involved? This case just keeps getting more puzzling.
