I couldn't stop thinking about Harold still having his earbuds in when his mom found him. It’s small details like these that make it so gut-wrenching to hear about. Just imagining his mom coming across that scene... I really feel for Lynette Scroggins. It must be incredibly hard knowing your son was going about his normal routine, possibly listening to music, when this awful event happened. You can tell he didn’t see it coming. There was something personal and intimate taken away from them that day, and I can’t imagine the weight of carrying that memory. I just hope that the trial brings them some form of closure.
