Has anyone else thought about the potential role of the Chena River in Oman's disappearance? Given that searchers already checked the area around the cabin, and if they didn't find anything, makes me wonder if the current could have carried evidence further downstream. It's not unheard of in cases near water bodies. Plus, if she really walked away on June 4 as the cabin owner said, she could have been disoriented or needing help, maybe trying to head towards civilization. The Chena Hot Springs Road area is pretty remote, especially for someone not from around Fairbanks. Hoping more searches will focus in on the riverbanks as it's possible something might have been overlooked. Thoughts on the river or any similar cases where river currents affected a search outcome?

Hey everyone, I've been piecing together bits about Oman's disappearance, and something that's been nagging at me is the timeline on when her phone last pinged. It pinpointed at 17 mile on Chena Hot Springs Road on June 4, which is really curious considering she "walked away" from the cabin on Pleasant Valley Road. Is it possible she was trying to get back to the main road for help, or maybe she was meeting someone? The fact that her phone was dying makes it hard to trace her exact movements, but it might suggest she didn't have plans to go off the grid. I wonder if anyone in that area might have remembered seeing something that morning, even if it's just a passing car. It seems worth revisiting with the locals since those routes aren't exactly bustling, and someone might recall an unusual sighting. Thoughts?
