Hey everyone,
This case has really stuck with me, and I can't help but think about the community impact. So many of us in Gary often see these tragic events unfold, and it’s hard not to feel the ripple effects throughout the neighborhood. Knowing that Jerode Cursey was just blocks away from his home when his life ended so violently makes it all the more unsettling. I keep wondering who in our community might have seen something or known something that might help solve this case.
We can't ignore how cases like these leave families in unimaginable pain, but they also cast a shadow over entire communities. When will we ever feel safe again knowing that those responsible are still out there? I hope someone finds the courage to speak up if they know anything. Really thinking of Jerode's family and hoping for some closure for them soon.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the fire set to Jerode Cursey’s van. It seems like such a calculated move. The person who did this wanted to be sure there'd be no evidence left behind. It's a terrifying thought that someone would go to such lengths. Whatever the reason behind Jerode’s murder, it's clear that this is someone who was willing to go to extremes to cover their tracks. I hope for the sake of Jerode’s family and friends that something positive can come from the investigation soon. It's hard to believe that nobody has been held accountable yet, and my heart goes out to those who knew him. They deserve answers and justice. If anyone knows anything, please consider reaching out to the authorities.
