I've been thinking a lot about Dewaun's case ever since I stumbled upon it. It’s so distressing to hear about what happened, and I can’t help but feel for his family and friends. I imagine they're going through an unimaginable time trying to cope with such a loss. It’s really striking that the coroner and the police had differing views on what took place. You'd think that would have sparked some further investigation or at least a discussion around the whole incident. It's puzzling how something ruled as a homicide can end up with no charges. Perhaps there’s more we don’t know about the events that led up to that day? I think this case really emphasizes the need for conversations about gun safety and how crucial it is to educate kids and families about the serious risks involved. Hoping for healing for everyone affected by this tragedy. Has anyone else followed similar cases in Indiana? Would love to hear your thoughts.
