Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Heather Jeannette McAlister, who went missing in July 2019. Something that's really puzzling to me is the fact that she was last seen by police while walking along State Route 142. I keep thinking about why she didn't accept help from them. Was it the mental health crisis that made her wary, or could there have been another reason? It's hard not to wonder what might have happened if she'd taken that assistance. Also, does anyone know if there were any other sightings or reports from people driving that route around the same time? It's such a busy road, you'd think someone might have seen something. If you have any thoughts or info, it would be great to discuss. It's so important to keep Heather's story alive and hope for any leads.
I was going through some of Heather's info and couldn't shake the fact that it was right around the 4th of July when she went missing. I know it might not seem significant, but that's a holiday when a lot of people are out and about. Anyone else think this might have increased the chances of someone noticing her? Or maybe someone with less-than-great intentions could have picked her up thinking she was vulnerable. Given that it was a holiday weekend, I'm hoping someone might remember seeing her or something unusual that day. It's these small details that can sometimes lead to breakthroughs. Anyone local to Goldendale or the surrounding areas who remembers anything should definitely reach out to the authorities. It just takes one tip to change everything. Thoughts?
Hey everyone, has anyone looked into the weather conditions around the time Heather McAlister went missing on July 3, 2019? I was thinking that it might provide some clues or context for her sudden disappearance. Goldendale and its surrounding areas can have some unpredictable weather patterns, especially in early summer. Could bad weather have affected her decision to decline police help or where she might have ended up after that encounter? Maybe she took shelter somewhere off the beaten path? Just trying to brainstorm different angles here. If anyone's got data or observations from that day, it could be worth piecing together. Thoughts?
