Gaétan Ethier, a 45-year-old white Canadian man, was murdered on March 31, 1991, in Montreal, Quebec. At the time, Ethier had invited Michael Wayne McGray, a man he had met in Montreal's Gay Village, back to his apartment. Unbeknownst to Ethier, McGray was a convicted killer who had been granted a three-day weekend pass from prison. After spending the night at Ethier's residence, McGray fatally stabbed him before fleeing. This murder occurred just one day after McGray had similarly killed anoth ...
