Hey everyone, I’ve been reflecting on the details of Lance Washington Jr.’s tragic death and can’t stop thinking about how young he was and the dreams he had for his future. A young father aspiring to become a barber, I can’t even begin to fathom how deeply this has affected his family, especially his child who will now grow up without Lance. It’s devastating to think that someone at 21 was already trying to turn his life into something positive, laying the groundwork for a brighter future, only to have it taken away so senselessly. Hearing how Alfred Osborne was linked to the case—especially since he was picked up on unrelated charges in Kentucky—it just makes me wonder what led to this awful situation in the first place. I know authorities are being tight-lipped, but does anyone have more insight into what might’ve really happened? I hope that with Osborne's upcoming extradition to Indiana, Lance’s family will get some answers. But even with justice being served, the void left behind is unimaginable. Really hoping the community can come together to show some support for Lance’s loved ones. His child deserves to hear how many people cared about his dad and are rallying around them now.
