I was reading about Daemon Allen Link's case, and I can’t stop thinking about the resilience he must have had. Surviving cancer from such a young age is no small feat, and it just amplifies the tragedy of losing him to senseless violence. It’s like he fought this enormous battle and was finally ready for a new chapter, only to have it stolen away. My heart goes out to his family, especially his sister, Tiera. The strength they must have had to support him through years of illness, only to face this, is unimaginable. It’s awful how the investigation seems to be moving slowly, and I'm hoping someone out there will come forward with any information that could help. Justice needs to be served, both for closure and to honor the courage Daemon showed throughout his life.
