Has anyone been following the Chad Smitherman case? What really baffles me is the fact that the suspects were reportedly in contact with Chad shortly before the shooting. If one of them texted a message that practically amounts to a confession, why hasn't there been more progress in identifying and charging the individuals involved? I can't even begin to imagine how frustrating this must be for Chad's family, especially his mom, Lisa. It’s like they're stuck in this limbo, waiting for justice and answers that seem to be taking forever. Cases like this make me wonder about the gaps in the system and whether law enforcement has the resources they need to solve them. I hope that with new advancements or possible witnesses coming forward, this case can crack open. Chad deserves justice, and his family deserves peace. Anyone else have ideas on what might be going on behind the scenes with this investigation?

Hey everyone, I was thinking about the location where Chad was found, and it really hits home how random and vulnerable everyday places can be. The GetGo gas station is a spot many people can relate to stopping by either for fuel or a quick snack. It's haunting to think that what seems like such a mundane place ended up being central to such a tragic event. I can't imagine what his mother, Lisa, must be going through, knowing her son was so close to help yet it wasn't enough. I hope that as more time goes by, people who were around that area come forward with any information they might have, no matter how seemingly insignificant it might seem.
