Did anyone else catch the part in the trial where Kenneth's mom spoke about her encounter with Fye right after the shooting? It must have taken an extraordinary amount of courage for her to face him, both during that terrifying moment and then again in court. I can't even begin to imagine the trauma she went through that night—losing her son in such a horrific way and then having to defend herself against his killer. Her strength is just something else. It's so important for us as a community to support the families who endure such awful tragedies. They shouldn’t have to face these battles alone. My thoughts are with Kenneth’s family, hoping they find some peace despite these terrible circumstances.
