Hey everyone, I've been reflecting on John "Steve" Weisert's story, and something that sticks out to me is his devotion and commitment to his family. Even after years of service as an Air Force veteran and a successful career as a mechanical engineer, he continued to work at FedEx not because he had to, but because he wanted to support his family. It's just incredibly inspiring how he put the needs of his loved ones above his own. It's moments like these that remind us how precious and important family is. I can't imagine the pain Mary and his family must be enduring, having lost such a caring and selfless person. My heart goes out to them during this time of unimaginable sorrow. I'm hopeful that Steve's legacy of love and dedication will be carried forward, motivating more meaningful conversations around supporting our loved ones, both emotionally and financially, and ensuring that such a tragedy doesn't repeat itself.
