Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Larry Brown Jr. and Blake Blakemore, and I just can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on their families and the community. It's just devastating how this senseless act has not only taken two young lives but also stripped away a cherished event that so many looked forward to each year. When I heard the Hammond Day Festival is no longer happening, my heart went out to all those who used to find joy and community there.
