Does anyone else find it odd that there was never any attempt to track down that unidentified vehicle seen picking up Betty and Holly? Back in 1977, things were obviously different tech-wise, but shouldn't there have been some focus on identifying the make or model, or even reaching out to witnesses who might have seen it? I've always wondered if there were any neighbors around who might have caught a glimpse, or even if law enforcement canvassed the area. It feels like such a crucial detail that could provide a lead, especially in such a closed case. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like an angle that wasn't fully explored. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
