Holly Ann Emmett, only four months old, went missing on October 27, 1977, from her home in Gainesville, Georgia, along with her mother, Betty Loggins Emmett. That night, Betty’s husband reported that Betty had told him she was leaving the state but did not specify where. At approximately 1:00 a.m., an unknown vehicle arrived at their home, picking up Betty and Holly. After retrieving some clothes, Betty left with the baby, and neither of them has been heard from since.
