I've been following Tommy "Tucker" Casey Jr.'s case and something that's been on my mind is the impact this has had on his grandchildren. It's devastating to think about how they have to grow up without their grandpa, who clearly meant the world to his family. Given how his family describes him—full of laughter, a love for fishing and working on cars—I can only imagine how many cherished moments and skills he would've passed on to them. His death is a profound loss that will undoubtedly shape their lives. I can only hope that as they grow older, they find some comfort in the stories and memories shared by those who knew him best. My heart goes out to everyone who loved Tommy, especially the little ones who have to hold onto the memories that they're told of instead of ones they'll form on their own.
