I’ve been following Luke Borror’s case and something that keeps sticking with me is the role that technology played in leading to such a tragic outcome. It’s just so unsettling to think about how what started as an online arrangement for something so commonplace ended in unimaginable grief for his family and friends. We all know the digital age has transformed how we connect and conduct transactions, but stories like this are a stark reminder of the dangers that can lurk beneath the surface. Luke was just trying to sell vape cartridges, something many would see as a routine online meetup. It's devastating that a young man with so much talent and promise ended up in such a situation. My heart goes out to his family, especially knowing a friend witnessed the horrible event through a Facetime call. I can’t even begin to imagine the trauma of that experience. It’s important that we keep talking about how technology is used for both good and bad, and find ways to prevent these tragedies from happening again. Stay safe out there, everyone. My thoughts remain with Luke’s loved ones as they navigate through this incredibly difficult time.
