Has anyone else been curious about the process that led to the suspect's capture after escaping initially? It seems incredibly tense that there was such a short window between the escape and the eventual arrest. I'm wondering about the strategies and determination involved from other officers to track him down so quickly. It must have been such a nail-biting time for the community, considering they already lost one of their own. My thoughts are with Deputy Brown's family and colleagues who had to endure not only the shock of losing him but also the fear while the suspect was temporarily on the loose. Does anyone here have more insight into how these kinds of manhunts were organized back in the 1920s?
