Just came across the case of Edna Belle Dunlap Brown, and I can't help but wonder about her life and family. It seems Edna's story has been overshadowed by time, but I'm curious about her parents, Samuel and Carrie Mae Dunlap. What kind of lives did they lead, and what connections might they have had in Chicago or Alexandria? Sometimes, looking into a victim's family can provide new insights or uncover hidden layers to their story. If anyone has information or thoughts on the Dunlap family, or any old records that might give us more context, it could be a piece of the puzzle we’re missing. My heart goes out to anyone who knew Edna or her family.
I always find it so curious when cases like Edna Belle Dunlap Brown's just fade into obscurity. Given the time period, it makes me wonder about the social dynamics and forensic capabilities back then. Although her death wasn't officially linked to any criminal activity, it's unsettling to think about the potential lack of resources or attention her case might have gotten. The fact that Edna’s story isn't even part of the cold case files just adds another layer of mystery. It's as if she slipped through the cracks of history. I can only imagine the frustration and sorrow her family might have felt. If anyone has come across stories or family memories about her, they could really shed some light and perhaps give Edna the recognition she deserves.

Edna is my great grandmother. She was murdered along with my grandmother. It’s not a cold case because they know who killed them as he was killed the same day.
