I recently came across the tragic case of Alexander Eugene Sztanko, and I'm truly haunted by the circumstances surrounding his death. What stands out to me is the utter failure of the justice system that allowed Michael Carl George back into society after the brutal murder of an 8-year-old. It's alarming to think how someone with such a violent history could be given the chance to harm another child. This oversight cost Alexander his life in such a horrific manner. It's hard not to feel anger and frustration knowing that Alexander might still be with his family if stricter measures were in place. My heart goes out to his friends and family, who have to bear this immense loss. How do we prevent this from happening again? It's a tough question, but one we must keep asking.
